C C Kannan to receive PV Thampy award

Kochi: The P V Thampy Memorial Endowment Award instituted by the Environment Monitoring Forum would be presented to environmentalist C C Kannan at a function to be held in the city on Wednesday. Former chief secretary K Jayakumar would present the award at the function to be held in the YMCA Hall on Chittur Road. Opposition leader V D Satheeshan would preside over the function. Justice C N Ramachandran Nair will deliver the P V Thampy memorial speech.
