Kanpur: A 17-year-old boy died by suicide by hanging from a tree in a field on the outskirts of Binour village under Sachendi police station limits, after his family opposed his relationship with a teenage girl, who was related to him as a sister.The deceased, a resident of Binour village, was in a two-year relationship with the girl. On Saturday morning, the boy left his home without informing anyone. Family members repeatedly called him, but he did not answer his phone. His friends and family searched for him until late at night but could not find him anywhere.The deceased boy used to drive a tractor alongside farming. He is survived by his mother and brother.His uncle said that both the boy and the girl wanted to get married, but family members opposed the relationship, considering the boundaries of their familial relationship. The family had also forbidden them from talking to each other on several occasions, but neither was willing to comply.On Sunday morning, as the family about to set out to search again, villagers informed them that boy was found hanging from a mango tree.
