2 missing teens found in Faridabad
Kanpur: Two teenagers missing from the Kalyanpur area of the city were found by the police on the seventh day in Faridabad, Haryana. They left for Delhi in search of jobs.
A fourteen-year-old boy from Devi Sahay Nagar, Kalyanpur and his friend from the IIT Society went missing suddenly on the afternoon of October 22. The teenager's family accused a local priest and two others of kidnapping him.
During questioning, the teenagers revealed that after leaving home, they reached Mathura, where they stayed at an ashram for four days and ate at a community kitchen. After that, they set out for Delhi. On the way, the two stopped in Faridabad. A relative recognised them in Faridabad and informed their families. The families, who were searching for their children with the police team, immediately reached Faridabad where the police found them. Kalyanpur police station in-charge Sudhir Kumar said that the kidnapping claim was completely baseless, as the teenagers left home of their own will. tnn
