Antaragni: Punk, attitude mark Day 3
Kanpur: Day 3 of Antaragni, the annual fest of IIT-Kanpur, was all about music, punk and attitude on Saturday.
The morning started with a colour walk where hundreds of students walked on a dedicated road wearing white shirts and throwing colours on each other. The entire atmosphere was festive. One could actually breathe the excitement.

The final of DJ wars was held where three teams competed with each other. The afternoon brought in the pleasant notes of poetry in the event called Kavi Sammelan. Five different poets from different parts of the country enthralled the audience with their words.
The event was a huge hit and the entire open air theatre, where the event was held, was absolutely jam-packed. Listeners, despite the blistering sun, cheered and clapped for their favourite poets.
The crowd slipped into the soft feelings of romanticism and a zeal for patriotism, the two main subjects of the kavi sammelan.
The evening saw the crowning of Mandeep and Arundhati Sharma as Mr. & Ms. Antaragni.
Richa Trivedi, a SRCEM Lucknow student said, "I am looking forward to all the dance events. I do not want to miss out any of them."
Another SRCEM student, Disha Srivastava said, "This place has an amazing energy. Even when we sleep so less and walk so much, we are never tired."
The day also saw a talk by Gen (retd) G D
The food courts became the quiet corners for people seeking some solitude. Some eateries created bamboo hutments where one could sit and enjoy conversation over food.
The campus was painted in the colours of new friendships and strengthening of old bonds.
