SHO, constable in ACB net over bribery in Jalore

Jodhpur: ACB arrested a station head officer (SHO) and a head constable for accepting a bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh in Jalore on Monday night. The two accused including SHO Amar Singh had sought bribe for absolving the driver of a seized vehicle from liquor smuggling charges. The SHO had demanded Rs 2.5 lakh initially but later reduced the amount as the complainant did not pay any heed, said ASP (ACB) Om Prakash Choudhary in Jalore district. TNN
