Lok Sabha elections: Former CM Hooda engages with public in Jind City Herbal Park
JIND: Amid the ongoing parliamentary elections, making a direct chord with public ,former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda reached herbal park located in the mid of Jind city and had a walk with people. Hooda who accompanied with Sonipat lok sabha Congress candidate Satpal Brahmachari and people who come to park on a daily basis shared jokes with each other and spent an hour in the park.
He sought votes for Sonipat Congress candidate while having a herbal tea in the park with locals.
Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the aim of the Congress is not only to form the government, but also to implement the promises made in the elections.
Therefore, the parents who want a secure future for their children, the youth who want good education and employment for themselves, the farmers who want guarantee of MSP, the traders who want a safe environment, the employees who want old pension and the elders who want ₹ 6000 old age pension, all of them will vote in this election, he said.
Hooda gave mantra to his party workers saying that they should work hard in the next 14 days to form Congress government the country and the state as well. “Congress has prepared a revolutionary manifesto for the people, which will ensure participation of every section. It is the responsibility of every Congress worker to take this manifesto to every person. Wherever this Congress Nyay Patra reaches, BJP will be wiped out,” he said.
Satpal Brahmachari said his entire life has been dedicated to the society, and he would show the same dedication to the people of Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency. Seeing the enthusiasm and affection of all communities of Sonipat, even the opponents have understood that Congress is going to win from here with a huge margin.
Brahmachari said crime has increased so much in Jind and Sonipat districts during the BJP tenure that no person feels safe. Illegal drug trade has reached every street and village. “Eradicating crime and drugs will be his priority, because a mega structure of development cannot stand on the foundation of fear,” he said.
