JAMMU: In Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, a terrorist hideout was discovered and raided on Saturday, resulting in the confiscation of incriminating materials, police said.
The hideout was discovered in the Dalas Barneli area in Arnas sub division during a search and cordon operation, which was initiated based on credible intelligence about its presence, said a police spokesperson.
Two detonators, 12 rounds of AK assault rifle, one each IED enabled tape recorder and calculator, one battery and few connecting wires were recovered from the hideout, police spokesperson added.
Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police Mohita Sharma said the search operation is still going on in the area and further details are awaited.
She emphasized the police's dedication to neutralise any nefarious plans of anti-national elements.
