Tatrakshak medal winners to get ₹6L, land
Jaipur: Now, soldiers decorated with Tatrakshak Medal in the Coast Guards from the state will also get the benefit of the facilities provided by the state government under the Rajasthan Gallantry Award (Cash Award and Land Grant) Rules, 1966. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has given necessary approval in this regard.As per the proposal, the President's Tatrakshak Medal (Gallantry) holders will be given Rs 6 lakh in cash and Rs 25 lakh in lieu of 25 bighas of irrigated land or land. Similarly, Tatrakshak Medal (Bravery) holders will be given Rs 30,000 in cash and Rs 25 lakh in lieu of 25 bighas of irrigated land. These benefits will be admissible to the medal holders from January 26, 1990.Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the work plan amounting to Rs 25.94 crore for infrastructure development, computerisation, furniture and other facilities in the registered madrassas in the state. This work will be done under the Chief Minister's Madarsa Modernisation Scheme. The chief minister has already approved Rs 15.34 crore for providing two sets of uniforms per student for more than 2 lakh students studying in registered madrassas. The government approved the proposal to open agriculture faculty in 45 government higher secondary schools of different districts. Approval has also been given to create 45 posts of Lecturer (Agriculture) in these schools.As per the proposal, one post of Lecturer (Agriculture) will be created per school. Gehlot had announced to open of agriculture faculty in 600 state schools with science faculty. To implement the above announcement, 525 posts of lecturers have already been created by opening agriculture faculty in 525 schools.
