JAIPUR: Assembly Speaker and Ajmer North MLA Vasudev Devnani on Sunday directed the Ajmer district police to identify and apprehend Bangladeshi and Rohingya citizens residing illegally in the Ajmer dargah area.

He also directed action against illegal e-rickshaw operations and sale of alcohol after permitted hours.

Devnani held a meeting at the Circuit House with district SP Devendra Bishnoi to address various law and order issues in the city. He emphasized the need to curb rising crimes, particularly on Dargah Link Road, Delhi Gate, and other areas.

According to him, many of these crimes involve illegal residents from Bangladesh and Myanmar. “A search should be conducted to identify and deport these illegal residents,” said Devnani.
