in conversation with Aditi Maheshwari-Goyal discussed the changing landscape of the Hindi language in the country.
“The next century will script the new success story for the Hindi language. The language experts are making inroads into non-conventional areas like advertisements, public relations and cinema,” said Dubey, who recalled how he was known for his expertise in Hindi in the office of 200 employees.
Highlighting the importance of the Hindi language in building a sound career,

said that noted writer Chetan Bhagat presents his podcast in Hindi despite being known for literature in English. The reason is to connect with the wide audience, to garner more hits on his content which will ultimately monetise him well,” said Jain who argues that content in Hindi has great potential on all platforms. The Hindi language has become the new ‘cool’, especially among the millennials. The new digital media like YouTube, podcast channels and Instagram have given a platform to those who have not only grown up loving the language but have also earned their bread and butter through it.
