Guidelines issued for RAS pre-exam candidates

JAIPUR/AJMER: On Thursday, the Jaipur district administration issued guidelines for the candidates on dressing, timings, and other details of the RAS pre-exam to be held on Sunday.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on Thursday released the admission cards on the website for the RAS preliminary exam. Over 6.97 lakh candidates have applied for the exam and 2,158 centres have been made across the state.

RPSC Secretary Ram Niwas Mehta said, “Candidates can download their admit card from the website to know their centers.

The exam will be from 11am till 2pm and candidates must reach centres one hour before the commencement of the exam else they will not be allowed to enter the examination center. We appeal to candidates that they should not come under any influence of anti-social elements, mediators or claiming anything to make them pass the exam.” Officials said that over 95,000 aspirants from Jaipur will appear for the exam at 265 centres in the district and a control room has been established.

RAS candidates asked to reach centres 1 hour before exam, to be videographed

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has implemented strict security measures for the upcoming RAS pre-exam, including conducting videography throughout the duration of the exam. With over 6.97 lakh candidates applying for the exam, the RPSC aims to prevent cheating and the entry of mobile phones into the examination hall. In addition, candidates will face negative marking for unanswered questions and will be disqualified if they do not select any option in more than 10% of the questions. The exam will be conducted on October 1.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the exam district slip for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Preliminary Examination 2023. Admit cards for the exam will be available on September 28, 2023. The exam is scheduled for October 1, 2023, from 11 am to 2 pm. Candidates must arrive at the examination centre by 10 am and bring their admit card and valid identification. RPSC has advised candidates to download their admit cards from the official website and ignore any misleading news about the exam.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the admit card for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Prelims exam 2023. The exam will be held on October 1, 2023. There are a total of 905 vacancies for various services. The RAS exam consists of a prelims exam, a mains exam, and an interview. The prelims exam is an objective-type paper with two sections: General Studies and General Ability. The mains exam is a subjective-type exam with nine papers. The final selection is based on the combined scores of the mains exam and the interview.
