Former Sikar coaching mentor under scrutiny in NEET leak probe
Jhunjhunu/Jaipur: Even as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) deepens its probe into the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case, one of the many persons initially quizzed by the Rajasthan Police’s SOG for their alleged role and connections was Satya Narayan Choudhary, also known as SN Choudhary, a former coaching operator from Sikar district who earlier came under the scanner.
While the CBI has not taken any action against Choudhary so far, officials said his links with the arrested Biwal family and his activities in Sikar’s coaching ecosystem remain under examination. As per sources, he was also among those questioned Tuesday.
According to sources, three children from the family of arrested accused Dinesh Biwal and Mangilal Biwal studied at Choudhary’s coaching institute while preparing for NEET-UG 2025. Officials said Choudhary prominently featured the students in promotional posters issued by his institute.
Officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, claimed that, like the Biwal family, Choudhary allegedly enjoyed strong political connections and was frequently seen at political functions linked to a political party.
Investigators found that although the coaching institute remained shut for a considerable period, its signboards and promotional material continued to be displayed outside the premises.
According to sources, Choudhary, popularly known among students as “Bhai Sir,” taught chemistry to aspirants preparing for NEET, JEE and Classes 10 and 12. Officials said he began his career in Sikar’s competitive coaching industry before becoming associated with multiple institutes over the years.
In 2024, Choudhary and an associate reportedly launched a coaching institute on Piprali Road in Sikar but later separated following internal disputes. He subsequently started Deep Career Institute at Sanskar Heights on Piprali Road.
Sources said the institute began operations around March 2025 but shut down within months, reportedly by Nov 2025. Local residents and shopkeepers, however, claimed the institute effectively remained closed since Oct-Nov last year. Despite the closure, posters and banners outside the institute continued to remain in place, giving the impression that the centre was still operational.
Later, investigators also learned about Choudhary’s academic material, particularly a “guess paper” or module circulated under the title “The Master Stroke.” Sources claimed the material was marketed as a predictive module covering likely NEET questions.
After the closure of Deep Career Institute, Choudhary is believed to have briefly worked at another coaching institute in Sikar before later moving to a coaching institute in Ladnun, sources said. Sources claimed Choudhary was originally from the Panditpura area under Bandikui in Dausa district, though officials said this detail has not yet been verified.
