4 missing students rescued from Hisar

Jaipur: A special team of police successfully rescued four school students, including two girls, who had fled from their homes after skipping school on Thursday. DCP (East) Gyan Chandra Yadav informed TOI that the parents of these minors had reported their disappearance at the Kho Nagoriyan police station on Wednesday. All of these children, aged between 13 to 16, attend the same school.Yadav explained that the school alerted the parents when, at 8:30 in the morning, the children were absent from school. Concerned, the parents went to the school to inquire about their whereabouts.Upon learning about the missing children from the school administration, the parents discovered that four kids had gone missing and had also skipped school that day. Despite efforts to locate the minors, they could not be found. Subsequently, the parents sought assistance from the police.Police conducted searches at various locations, including the railway station, shopping malls, and parks. After employing a combination of technical examination and traditional policing, the team was dispatched to search in Hisar, where they successfully located the missing children. Yadav said that the children had left to enjoy themselves after skipping school.

Parents lay siege to private school after girl goes missing

Parents of a Class IX girl student in Erode, India, protested outside a private school after their daughter went missing. They claimed that the teachers allowed the girl to leave the premises with a stranger without their permission. The police are investigating the incident and have assured the parents that they will arrest the accused individual soon. The parents later withdrew their protest.

Parents move HC over school affiliation

Parents of 77 Class-X students from St Augustines Day School in Kolkata have taken the matter to Calcutta High Court after the school lost its affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. The parents are concerned as they have not received any communication from CISCE and the deadline for board exam registration is approaching. The case is expected to be heard on Wednesday. The school principal, however, reassured parents on social media that the affiliation situation is under control.
