JAIPUR: The state election commission on Tuesday released the final publication of integrated photo voter lists of all 200 assembly constituencies of the state.
Chief electoral officer Praveen Gupta while addressing a press conference said that 22,71,647 new voters aged 18-19 years will exercise their franchise for the first time in this election while 624 voters of third gender have registered.
Gupta said that a total of 5,29,31,152 voters are registered for the Assembly General Election-2023 of which 2,74,74,849 are male and 2,53,13,458 are female.
Gupta said that after the last publication of photo voter lists on October 4, integrated voter lists have been published after the disposal of Form 6 and Form 8 applications received till October 27. He said that during this period, 2,88,037 names were added to the voter list.
He informed that the voter-to-population ratio in the integrated voter list is 652 and 100% voters’ photographs are printed in the voter lists. For every 1,000 male voters, 921 female voters are registered in the integrated list, he informed.
In the 2018 general assembly elections, there were 4,77,89,000 voters in the state.
The number of male voters was 2,49,61,000 and 2,28,27,000 were female voters.
