Woman accuses man of harassment assault and intimidation

Indore: A 25-year-old woman in Indore's Annapurna area has accused a man of harassment, assault and intimidation, leading to the registration of an FIR late Saturday night. The accused identified as Ishaan is now under police investigation.In her complaint, the woman mentioned that she and the accused were previously acquainted, but she cut off contact after her marriage. Despite this, he allegedly continued to pressure her to resume communication and would stalk her during her daily commute. The woman further stated that the accused took her gold ring and earrings on the pretext of need and has not returned them.The situation escalated on Saturday night when the accused allegedly arrived outside her residence in a car and began abusing her. When she objected, he allegedly assaulted her. Hearing the commotion, her mother and brother came out and intervened, following which the accused fled after issuing threats.The woman later approached Annapurna police with her family and lodged a complaint. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
