Teenager killed after coming under rotavator in Khargone village

Khargone: A 15-year-old boy died after coming under a rotavator in Jamania village under Bhikangaon police station limits of Khargone district on Sunday.

Bhikangaon police station in-charge Neeraj Sarwan said that the boy, Someshwar, was hit by a tractor, lost his balance and fell. He was pulled under the moving rotavator attached to the tractor, sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot, he said.

According to information, Someshwar’s uncle, Kanhaiya Kartar, had taken a field belonging to villager Prem Mallu on a lease-share basis. A tractor and rotavator had been hired for cultivation work. The accident occurred when Someshwar had accompanied his uncle to a field where ploughing and land-levelling work was being carried out. Someshwar was standing near the tractor, monitoring the operation, while his uncle had briefly stepped away for other work.
