Sub-engineer caught taking bribe in Khargone

“The sub-engineer, Manoj Sawle (42), posted in the office of chief executive officer, janpad panchayat, Maheshwar was trapped in his office,” SP Lokayukt Rajesh Sahay said. “The complainant, Mangan Singh Makwane, secretary of gram panchayat Kankariya, had got a well-grill construction work executed in the village and required a work evaluation and completion certificate for the project. Sawle allegedly demanded Rs 14,000 as bribe for issuing the certificate. The complainant alleged that the accused had pressured him into paying Rs 4,000 through UPI and was demanding the remaining amount,” the SP said..
