Month on, husband & in-laws booked for dowry death
Mhow: One month after a woman from a Dhar village died, Naugaon police have booked her husband and his parents for dowry death. The police registered the case after investigating her death and recording statements of witnesses and the accused.Dhar CSP Ravindra Waskale said that Tulsi (25), wife of Narayan Patidar, from Labrawda village, about ten kilometre from Dhar, died after sustaining injuries on her body. Tulsi's husband, Narayan and his parents told the police that she slipped and fell while coming down the stair, resulting in severe injuries that led to her death.After registering a case of unnatural death, Naugaon police started an investigation. In the statements of Tulsi's parents, it came to light that her in-laws were harassing her for dowry and criticised her for visiting her parents' house.After reviewing the statements of both the parties and considering her death under mysterious circumstances, Narayan, his father Satyanarayan Patidar and mother Parvati Patidar were booked under sections 80(2), 85, and 3(5) of BNS on Saturday night.
