Madhya Pradesh elections 2023: Have come to make you millionaires and billionaires, says Kailash Vijayvargiya in Indore
NOIDA: In the run-up to the 2023 Madhya Pradesh elections, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya has made a rapid development promise while seeking votes. He stated that he is entering the electoral arena with the aim of making people millionaires and billionaires. Vijayvargiya is contesting assembly elections after a ten-year interval. The BJP has nominated him as the candidate for the Indore-1 constituency, which has long been under Congress control.
In a meeting with BJP workers, Vijayvargiya said that if he wins the elections, there will be so much development in this area that the value of people's homes will triple in five years. He proclaimed, "I have come to make you millionaires and billionaires."
He mentioned that the house in Nanda Nagar of Indore-2 constituency, where he resides, used to be worth only 1 million rupees, but today it is valued at over 150 million rupees. Kailash Vijayvargiya attributed this significant development to the strong foundation provided by the ruling party in terms of essential amenities.
Following the release of the BJP's second list of candidates, the Congress has been stunned, and Vijayvargiya has referred to Amit Shah as 'Chanakya.'
Vijayvargiya has taken a dig at Sanjay Shukla, the current Congress MLA from Indore-1. He criticized Shukla for organizing various religious programs, feasts, and distributing sarees to women over the past five years. He urged BJP workers present at the meeting to explain to those in their neighborhoods who have been traditionally voting for Congress that while they may enjoy the feasts, religious stories, and sarees offered by the Congress MLA, in the upcoming assembly elections, they should vote for the BJP.
Kailash Vijayvargiya stated that he did not initially wish to contest the elections, but the BJP has sent him to the Congress MLA's house. He asserted that the party chose him because there is a lot of wrongdoing happening in the Indore-1 area.
During his election campaign, the BJP General Secretary is making promises to the voters of Indore-1 to expand the Lakshmibai Nagar Railway Station, address the water problem in the region, alleviate traffic congestion, and eliminate the illegal trade of intoxicants."
