INDORE: Enraged by the attack on BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya in West Bengal, some of his ‘supporters’ on Saturday pasted posters of Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on the busy Patnipura square in Indore.
Local resident Rajesh Bidkar, who took responsibility for it, said he is a fan of Vijayvargiya, but not a BJP worker.
“In Bengal, Mamata Banerjee’s government is counting its days.

Vijayvargiya ji has already said there is a threat to his life in Bengal and the attack on his convoy is proof of it,” Bidkar said. He and his friends removed the posters after an hour or so. “We don’t want to spoil the beauty of Indore, which is the frontrunner of Swachh Survekshan 2021,” he said. BJP said they have nothing to do with the posters. “I have no information of any such protest, and no BJP worker is involved,” BJP Indore city president Gaurav Randive told TOI.
