Considering Friday’s incident, varsity decided to seek police protection during the document verification to avoid any untoward situation.

“I have been getting threatening and abusive calls. We did not want any mishap to take place during the admission process. So police protection was sought,” added

Students reached the varsity campus on Saturday to get their documents verified to secure seat in their choice of course. However, no fixed venue was allotted by the varsity for Saturday’s process so students and parents reached School of Journalism and Mass Communication, according to the old schedule.
