3 dilapidated structures razed ahead of monsoon

Indore: Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Saturday demolished three structure on Jawahar Marg that were dilapidated to prevent accidents ahead of the monsoon.

The three buildings included a G+3 residential structure which had severely deteriorated, a G+1 building that was structurally unstable and a crumbling balcony and parapet wall of a G+3 building.

“Ahead of monsoon, we have marked such structures that are in dilapidated condition. The same are being demolished to avert any accident,” IMC commissioner Kshitij Singhal said.
