Biren launches slew of projects

Imphal: Manipur CM N Biren Singh on Monday launched several digital projects of many departments at his office complex. One of them is the digitisation and e-archiving of Manipur gazette which covered old gazettes for 67 years from 1950 to 2017.Other projects include radio frequency identification-based ID card issuance system, Swagatam, inventory management system, induction of e-vehicle in the general administrative department’s fleet of vehicles and 10 faceless services in Vahan application of the transport department. Taking to Facebook, Biren said the Manipur printing and stationery directorate “has embarked on a transformative journey of digitizing old gazettes, dating back to 1950.” eports K Sarojkumar Sharma.
