BJP will comfortably win Inner Manipur seat: Biren

Imphal: Chief minister N Biren Singh on Sunday said BJP will comfortably win the Inner Manipur parliamentary constituency in the coming Lok Sabha polls.Earlier, people used to choose candidates on the basis of good educational qualification and oratory skills, but now things have changed and this notion is not applicable in Manipur, Biren said, without naming any rival candidates and their backgrounds.“Now people will give vote to the candidates who really love the nation and have already begun works in the field for the nation,” he added.Speakling to mediapersons on the sidelines of an official programme in Bishnupur district’s Moirang area, Biren said, “We will comfortably win the polls and have a 200% winnablity chance.” The CM said by Monday, BJP will announce the candidate for the Inner seat. Union MoS for external affairs & education RK Ranjan Singh of the saffron party is the sitting MP from there.
