Two persons die as car rams into divider

Hyderabad: Two persons, including the driver, were killed in a road accident when the car they were travelling in lost control and crashed into a divider in Bhongir on Wednesday. Five other passengers escaped with minor injuries.
Police said the deceased were identified as Sufiyan, 25, and 17-year-old Yashvanth.
Police said that six friends, who are students, from Ramanthapur had hired a taxi to go to Yadagirigutta temple. The accident took place when they were returning from the temple.
Police said that Sufiyan, who was driving, lost control of the car and hit the divider. Due to the impact, the car then hit a roadside tree before coming to a halt, Bhongir town police told TOI. Yashvanth was sitting in the back of the car at the time of the accident.
"Overspeeding is suspected to be the cause of the accident," police said.
A case of negligence causing death has been registered.
