HYDERABAD: A sub-registrar in
Siddipet
has been suspended by district collector P Venkatrama Reddy.
The collector placed Cheriyala sub-registrar R Raju under suspension after it was found that he had registered plots in Marpadga village in Kondapaka village against municipal administration rules. The plots that were registered were under several survey numbers.
A bill collector of Cheriyala municipality has also been suspended. The bill collector Sai Shankar, after collecting taxes from the public, did not deposit them in the account of the administration as required to be done under the rules.
