HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy said he is ready for an investigation by a sitting judge on the allegations made by IT minister KT Rama Rao in the assembly that the former was blackmailing the government on land issue.

Addressing a press conference as part of his padayatra in Dornakal on Thursday, Revanth said the minister levelled baseless charges. "I am asking KTR if he is ready for an inquiry on Tellapur land allocations," he said. In the assembly on Thursday, KTR alleged that Revanth was resorting to blackmailing by getting hold of land documents using RTI data and filing complaints to show government in poor light.

Revanth also dared BRS Mahabubabad MP Maloth Kavitha for a discussion on having land parcels in the name of her family members in Serilingampally.

He alleged BRS Andhra Pradesh president Thota Chandrasekhar benefited from government's allocation of huge land parcels. "There is a big scam in Dharani land portal. We will expose this once we come to power."

He said since there was no democracy in the state, there was no point in the existence of Pragati Bhavan. "We will break open the doors of the CM's camp house," he warned again. Meanwhile, Revanth lodged a complaint against chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with DGP Anjani Kumar to conduct an inquiry into the poaching of 12 Congress MLAs by BRS. He asked the state police boss to make his complaint as part of the FIR registered at Moinabad police station and said he is ready to file acomplaint with CBI if needed.

He said BRS in its first tenure poached four MPs, 25 MLAs and 13 MLCs from various political parties.
