on Sunday announced that Narayanpet would be created as the 32nd district in Telangana. “When we created 31 districts, why would it be a problem to create another district?” he said at a public meeting in Narayanpet.
KCR said within two or three months of the TRS coming to power again, he would himself lay the foundation stone for a new collectorate complex for the new district that would be formed.
KCR addressed public meetings at Tandur, Parigi, Shadnagar, Ibrahimpatnam and Narayanpet and Devarkadra on Sunday . KCR said if the state was getting 24x7 uniterrupted power supply, it was because he has constantly monitored the power supply on his mobile phone and Ipad at least 10 times a day. “I am like a watchdog,” he said.
“If the Congress comes to power, you can take it for granted that power supply problem will once again haunt the state,” he said.
Like he has been doing at all election meetings, KCR attacked TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu fielding candidates in Telangana. “Are we such duds to trust him again when he neglected Telangana when he was CM? You should question voters in Makthal as to why the TDP candidate deserves to be given a vote there,” he said.
