Student held with forty LSD blots

HYDERABAD: Officials of enforcement wing of the

excise department

on Wednesday arrested a person for allegedly being in possession of 40 blots of banned LSD.

Excise officials said K Aravind Reddy, a Bachelor of

Pharmacy student

, was nabbed during a routine vehicle check between Nagole and Kothapet. He was travelling in a Swift car.

When the vehicle was stopped and officials checked it, they recovered 40 blots of LSD. Aravind Reddy, a native of Suryapet, claimed he had bought the LSD near Anjana beach in Goa and was planning to peddle it to needy persons, especially students.

On Monday he went to Goa and and returned to Hyderabad. He wanted to sell each LSD blot for 3,000-5,000.
