Raja Singh for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer, Rajasthan.
A complaint was lodged by a delegation of Sufi organisation
Ali after they came across a video in which the MLA was seen making the statement.
Raja Singh was booked under section 295A ( Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) of the Indian Penal Code and a probe was launched.
Recently, Raja Singh in a public meeting has made an alleged statement against the Sufi Saint of Ajmer Rajasthan and this has resulted in outrage on social media.
In the past too, Raja Singh was booked by police for allegedly making statements promoting enmity between groups.
However, in most of these cases, the BJP MLA was acquitted by the police.
