LS election: No Modi wave in T, says KTR

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao, on Sunday, quipped that there is no Modi wave in Telangana for upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Addressing an election preparatory meeting of party workers in Achampet of Nagarkurnool district, he said that there is no need for people to think about PM Modi who hasn’t delivered on the national status for Palamuru Rangareddy project.
He also trained guns at chief minister A Revanth Reddy saying that Congress wouldn’t have even won 30 seats if he had been declared as the CM candidate in the run-up to the assembly polls.
KTR also took potshots over delays in disbursement of Rythu Bandhu funds to farmers, asking if this was the change Congress promised. He added that the BJP and Congress are destroying the interests of Telangana.
“Many CMs come and go, but KCR, who achieved statehood for Telangana will remain…. Only the pink flag of BRS will fight for the state’s interest in galli and Delhi,” KTR said, while adding that the car ( BRS symbol) has gone only for service and that it will be back with vigour.
He also slammed the govt on Krishna River Management Board’s (KRMB) takeover of the Srisailam and the Nagarjunasagar projects.
