KCR skipped opportunity to discuss state’s devpt: Cong
Hyderabad: The All India Congress Committee's chief Mallikarjun Kharge is set to speak at a public meeting in Mancherial district on April 14 in support of Rahul Gandhi's comments in Parliament about the Adani-Modi nexus and to draw attention to the anti-democratic policies of the BJP.This meeting coincides with the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, and Kharge will travel from Delhi to Hyderabad airport before taking a helicopter to Mancherial. He will spend the night in Mancherial and return to Hyderabad the next day before flying to Bengaluru.Meanwhile, state Congress senior vice-president, Mallu Ravi, claimed that both the BRS and BJP governments are pretending to be rival parties when they have an understanding on many issues.“Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's failure to attend the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program was a missed opportunity to discuss various Telangana development issues, including central grants and privatisation of Singareni Collieries,” he alleged. While BRS ministers criticised Modi for allegedly misleading the people of Telangana, Mallu Ravi accused the BRS of falsely attacking the PM and called for an investigation into alleged corruption in various Telangana projects.
