HYDERABAD: In a historic comeback, the Congress party is leading in majority of the seats in the Telangana legislative assembly polls dominating the rival Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Congress workers started celebrations across the state, including at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, the party headquarters.



Congress is leading in 65 seats out of 119 assembly constituencies and crossed the magic figure of 60.

BRS is trailing with leads in 37 seats.



Surprisingly BJP is leading in 12 and AIMIM is down to 4.

Congress CM candidate and state president A Revanth Reddy is leading in Kodangal assembly constituency and Kamareddy constituency.

While chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao is leading in Gajwel constituency he is trailing in Kamareddy.

BRS has secured around 38 per cent of voters whereas Congress has got 40.7 per cent vote share.

BJP has got 13.6 per cent vote share and BSP 1.2 per cent.

BRS is sweeping Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

At least six ministers are trailing in Telangana.

Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Koppula Eswar, Puvva Ajay Kumar, Errabelli Dayakar are trailing.

BRS Ministers K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao are leading in Sircilla and Siddipet constituencies respectively.

Minister Sabita Indra Reddy is leading in Maheshwaram.
