Home voting begins for the first time in Telangana assembly elections

For the first time, home voting has been introduced in the Telangana assembly elections. Today, that is on November 21, home voting began in the 119 constituencies across the state. The facility of home voting has been given to senior citizens above the age of 80 years and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) with more than 40 per cent handicap.
The elections will be held on November 30. However, much before the actual polling day, the home voting facility is enabling hundreds of senior citizens and PwDs to cast their vote from their homes. Returning Officers have specified on which dates the home voting will be facilitated in each constituency.
