Five from Nepal jailed for misbehaving with woman
Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced five catering workers from Nepal to one week of imprisonment for allegedly misbehaving with a woman near Nizam College on the night of May 27.
According to the Abids police, the incident occurred at around 6.30 pm near the Nizam College PG Hostel when the accused, allegedly in an inebriated condition, misbehaved with the woman who was travelling with her husband on a motorcycle. After the woman raised an alarm, locals caught the accused and handed them over to the police.
Based on a complaint, the police registered a petty case against the accused, Sunil (23), Umesh (22), Laxman (23), Purushotham (22), and Ram (23), all Nepal nationals working as catering staff and residing in King Koti.
