BRS is out to topple state govt, say Congress leaders

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress leaders on Thursday alleged that BRS is focusing only on toppling the govt instead of playing a constructive role as a main opposition. Speaking to the media, deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka said: "We don't indulge in vendetta politics. We can also talk a lot about KT Rama Rao's brand of politics. There is no sense in opposing expansion of pharma clusters. BRS lost its mind after it lost power in last year's elections."He asked the BRS working president to explain what were the failures of the Congress govt in the last 11 months. "Is implementing loan waiver a failure? Is building integrated schools a mistake? Is doing good for people a failure?" he sought to know.TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said KTR will face imprisonment for his mistakes. "He is the first culprit in the Vikarabad violent incidents. He is involved in corruption in the Formula-E Racing scam. Former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy received a phone call from top BRS leaders and instigated the protesters in Dudyala mandal in Vikarabad," he alleged.Mahesh Goud said BRS was propagating lies until a few days ago about Musi and HYDRAA. "Why are BRS leaders attacking officials? They are only working for the benefit of the people. Stalling development will impact future generations," he said. The TPCC chief said he along with CM Revanth Reddy will tour districts soon and will start with Karimnagar first.
