Hyderabad: BRS leader Manne Krishank on Monday said the PM made many promises during the assembly elections, but no concrete steps were taken to fulfil them. He said
Congress never questioned BJP on the promises made to
Telangana in AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, and CM A Revanth Reddy did not attend Parliament for five days during the five-year term.
Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, Krishank said BRS would expose BJP in Lok Sabha plls and tell people, only BRS can raise issues of Telangana in Parliament.
He said the PM had sanctioned over 1 lakh crore for development in Gujarat, 19,510 crore to UP in addition to 17,000 crore in Ayodhya and 13,000 crore for Varanasi. Similarly huge funds were allocated to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa and Odisha, but Telangana drew a blank. He called the BJP “Big Jhoota Party”. tnn
