Viral hostel party clip not from Kadaganchi BCM hostel, says official

Kalaburagi: A video showing students having a party in a girls’ hostel room went viral in Kalaburagi, with claims that it belonged to the undergraduate BCM girls’ hostel at Kadaganchi in Aland taluk.

District BCM Officer Veerappa, however, dismissed the allegation, stating that the video was not linked to the Kadaganchi BCM hostel. He explained that the hostel that earlier functioned in Kadaganchi village had been shifted to Aland town, where no such incidents have been reported.

He said he has directed the taluka BCM officer to submit a detailed report so that appropriate action can be taken .Veerappa further clarified that the video was four years old and that the students seen in it have since completed their graduation and are now settled in their lives. He also alleged that certain individuals were attempting to blackmail an official using the old video and said the matter would be investigated.
