East Khasi Hills dist observes Int’l Day for ending violence against women

Shillong: The International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women was observed at a function held in Ramkheng village in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district on Monday. It was organised by the district legal services authority along with the state legal services authority. The programme was followed by an interactive session during which the women gathered information about legal aspects of dealing with domestic violence, reports Manosh Das.
