Vinay Mehta, a resident of E block, said, “What is the point of voting when our fundamental amenities are not being ensured by any political parties? We are being penalized for the fault of the developer and are forced to pay lakhs for an electricity connection, but no one pays any attention to our grievances.”
Meanwhile, the chief engineer of MCG, Vishal Bansal, said that the municipal corporation has been taking action as required in the colony. “Recarpeting of roads in the colony is already underway, but residents also have to understand that the construction of all lanes cannot be done in one day; rather, it is being done one block after another. All the sewer complaints have been attended to regularly. However, we will try to address their grievances," he said.
