Tanwar's Supporters Had Earlier Removed Picture
HISAR: A photograph of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, which was removed from the Congress Bhawan here after he hit out at state Congress president

at a rally in Delhi, was reinstalled on Tuesday - almost 29 months later. Hooda's supporters reinstalled it after his appointment as chairman of the state election coordination committee.

Tanwar's supporters had removed the former chief minister's photo on October 10, 2016, after the Delhi rally incident. However, a day later, the ex-CM's supporters put up another photo of Hooda at the same place. Only, it was removed again by the rival group two hours later.

Hooda's supporters celebrated the occasion by distributing sweets. Haryana Congress Committee member Dharmveer Goyat shared sweets with workers in the Congress Bhavan, while former MLA Barwala Ramnivas Ghodela distributed sweets in the Cantt area and aprty leader Anil Mann at his residence in Sector 15.

Initially, the Congress high command had released the list of its coordination Committee on Friday, but withdrew it a few minutes later. On Monday, the AICC re-released the list and retained Hooda as its head.
