The homebuyers also submitted a memorandum to the senior town planner seeking permission to allow a delegation of allottees to represent themselves at the hearing with ACS town and country planning on Tuesday in Chandigarh. According to the homebuyers, they have been getting correspondence from banks, who have given loans, about the reversal of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana credit linked subsidy as there is no progress in the project.

Senior Town Planner Narender Solanki said, “We have met the homebuyers and the representation submitted by them will be sent to the headquarter. The developer has made an appeal against the cancellation of the licence for that a hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.”

Spread across 10 acres, the project was launched in April 2018 and was to be completed by August this year. In May 2017, the DTCP cancelled the project’s licence for allegedly forging documents .

When contacted, the developer said, “We are committed to our homebuyers and we will complete the project. Everything will be sorted out soon.”

“Now, they should also let the developer or any concerned agency start the construction work so that we can get our homes soon,” said Dhruv Kapoor, a homebuyer.
