GURGAON: The Government Industrial Training Institute (Women) located in Sector 14 in Gurgaon and Moksha Wellness signed a memorandum of understanding. The move is aimed at providing training to women to make them industry ready.
Deputy commissioner of Gurgaon, Nishant Yadav, principal of GITI (Women), J P Yadav, placement officer and group instructor Jagriti Bhatia and director of Moksha Wellness Dinesh Sharma were present on the occasion.
Moksha Wellness which runs a chain of 125 salons in Delhi-NCR will provide training to the students of the institute and provide job opportunities to the passing out students on completion of the training programme.
Group instructor Jagriti Bhatia said for providing better training and job opportunities, the director of Skill Development and Industrial Training Department of Haryana, Vivek Aggarwal, keeps on meeting the market leaders in different fields. As part of this, they had a meeting with Moksha Wellness and it was decided to curate a training programme as per the requirements of the industry. “The company will help in training and provide job opportunities to the students,” said Bhatia.
Elaborating further, she said the company will provide job opportunities to the students of the institution, monthly training of students on latest trends, machinery and equipment, and special three to six months training for the students under dual training programme and establish a well equipped salon at the institution for the training purpose for the students.
