AMBALA: Two cousins hailing from Bihar died in a hit-and-run incident near Kakkar Majra village under Shahzadpur police station area of Ambala district on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Gandhi and Sita Ram, both residents of Gangti village of Sheikhpura district in Bihar. The worked as brick kiln labourers in Ambala.
The bodies of the deceased have been kept by the police at the mortuary of the civil hospital in Naraingarh.
The police have initiated an investigation and started scanning the CCTV cameras of eateries and petrol pumps near the accident spot.
The police said post-mortem examination of the deceased would be conducted after completing the paperwork and taking statement of family members.
