Man splatters boiling water on pup at Colva

Colva: A Colva resident on Friday complained to the police that a person threw boiling water on a stray puppy at the local fish market. Fidola Pereira, in her complaint, stated that Vithu (surname not known), who is believed to be employed at one of the commercial establishments in the vicinity, committed the act.

It has been alleged that Vithu has often exhibited cruel behaviour towards dogs and cats.

After accepting Pereira’s complaint, the police took the puppy for a medical examination. They said they would decide their course of action upon receiving the medical report. TNN
