Landslide affects train traffic along South Western Rly route

Margao: A landslide occurred between Castle Rock and Caranzol stations on the Braganza Ghat section late Tuesday evening, paralysing train traffic along the South Western Railway route. Several trains were cancelled, short terminated or diverted.

Train no. 17310 Vasco Da Gama-Yesvantpur Express of Tuesday was cancelled.

Train no. 17309 Yesvantpur-Vasco Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur on Tuesday will be short terminated at Hubballi instead of Vasco.

Train no. 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Express that commenced its journey from Delhi on Monday, will be short terminated at Belagavi instead of Vasco.

Train no. 12779 Vasco-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express that commenced its journey from Vasco on Tuesday, has been diverted to run via Sanvordem, Margao, Majorda, Madure, Roha, Panvel, Kalyan and Manmad instead of Kulem, Castlerock, Londa, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Raybag, Kudachi, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Pune, Daund Chord Line, Ahmadnagar, Belapur and Kopargaon.
