Dongrim mud house collapses

Panaji: A mud house in Dongrim crumbled around 11.30am on Sunday. The residents managed to escape unhurt, however, their belongings were damaged.

After visiting the site, sarpanch Prashant Naik said that he has forwarded photographs of the incident to the Talathi concerned and has requested that the officials conduct a thorough inspection to evaluate the extent of the damage. “We will follow up with the officials concerned and ensure that the family gets timely financial assistance from govt under the disaster management and the house is re-built at the earliest,” he said.
