In addition to flights to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi, Air India Express will now connect Goa International Airport, Dabolim, with Hindon Airport, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, from Aug 1.

FLY91 has also started direct daily flights from Manohar International Airport, Mopa, to Jalgaon, Maharashtra, which serves as a gateway for the Ajanta and Ellora caves. “Easier and more efficient air connectivity has enabled business, leisure travellers, and students to fly to their respective destinations. This, coupled with rising interest in air travel in Tier II and Tier III cities, enabled us to start daily flights to and from Jalgaon,” said Manoj Chacko, the managing director and chief executive officer at FLY91.

The Goa-based
airline began operating daily flights between Manohar International Airport and Jalgaon in the last week of May. The regional airline used to operate four flights per week in this sector.

In addition to providing non-stop connectivity to popular destinations such as Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata, Air India Express will connect Hindon through convenient one-stop itineraries to other key stations on its network, including Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Calicut, Kannur, Kochi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Bagdogra, Mangalore, Mumbai, Pune, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Hindon’s location within the National Capital Region (NCR) ensures seamless access for travellers to a host of tourist and spiritual destinations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

“Our network expansion is focussed on enhancing connectivity across the rapidly growing domestic and short-haul international market, particularly the new and underserved routes. It will benefit travellers from an extended catchment area, even beyond Delhi NCR, including western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal and Haryana,” said Aloke Singh, the managing director at Air India Express.
