have been promoted and posted as superintendents of police. Seven others have been shuffled. Chennai city police got two new DCPs and one for the SP, railways.

. C Shyamala Devi has been posted as DCP of Pulianthope police district while M Kingshlin has been posted as DCP of the modern control room of the city police.
D Ashok Kumar has been posted as the SP, coastal security group CID in Ramanathapuram in the existing vacancy. G Stalin has been promoted and posted as the SP, organised crime intelligence unit (OCIU). S Aravind has been promoted and posted as SP of the special division in the SB-CID in the state police headquarters, among others reshuffles.
