International letter writing competition for children in Erode

ERODE: The Department of Posts is conducting a Universal Postal Union 2024 (UPU) international letter-writing competition for children aged 9 to 15.

The competition, aimed at encouraging young minds to express their thoughts, invites participants to write a letter on the topic, "At 150 years old, the UPU has served people around the world for more than eight generations. The world has changed enormously since then. Write a letter to future generations about the world you hope they inherit."

According to a release by the superintendent of post offices, Erode Division, participants can submit their compositions in English or any language listed in the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India. The winners will receive a certificate along with a cash prize, and the best entry at the national level will be chosen as the official Indian entry for the international level competition.
